When Amanda was diagnosed with cancer, it hit like a ton of bricks.
There were so many questions and concerns, and money and job security were at the top of the list.
Amanda worked for an amazing company that provided comprehensive health coverage, and her family aided with every out-of-pocket comfort and support she needed. But for most cancer patients, that is not the case! Amanda heard numerous stories of fiscal despair from cancer patients and their families. That bothered Amanda deeply, and that’s the first mission of 4Amanda.Org – help cancer patients and their family’s with out-of-pocket expenses.
Amanda was also fortunate to work remotely for most of her cancer treatment. But again, for most cancer patients, that is not the case. That too bothered Amanda, and that’s the second mission of 4Amanda.Org -- a remote work or “gig site” dedicated to cancer patients and their families. We will roll this out – with your help – in June of 2023. This will NEVER cost cancer patients nor their families a single penny, and we’ll be providing more details over the next weeks and months.
Amanda also found the social media support space too broad and not specifically designed for cancer patients nor their families. That’s the third mission of 4Amanda – a dedicated and welcoming social media platform free of advertisements, free of tracking, and safe for families. This too will NEVER cost cancer patients nor their families a single penny, and will be introduced in March of 2023.
4Amanda.Org is dedicated to helping cancer patients and their families with the fiscal difficulties that accompany the diagnosis and treatment.
