June 1 thru June 30
We are excited to announce we are teaming up with singer and actress Chloé Caroline for our #ShareForHerHealth campaign. You've seen Chloe and heard her music on Disney, Hallmark, MTV, and in Lionsgate movies, and she’ll have some big announcements from her fans in the coming weeks.
As many of you know, Amanda passed from cancer at the age of 44, but she likely had the disease at the age of 37, according to her doctors.
Sadly, the single fastest demographic for early-onset cancer diagnoses are young women aged 30 to 44, and research shows that when young women are diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, they are nearly 70% more likely to pass away from the disease.
Researchers and oncologists are urging early detection, but that is easier said than done. Young women are often seen as too young to warrant screening, and many young women have lack luster insurance presenting unaffordable out of pocket costs. We are going to help with that!
So, what are we doing?
The #ShareForHerHealth campaign is designed to get everyone to share with everyone the message that experts say will make the most difference in fighting early-onset cancer.
1 Eat Well
2 Exercise Often
3 Focus on Emotional and Mental Health
4 Get Screened!
When it comes to screening, we have entered in to partnership with manufacturers of at-home cancer (disease and markers) detection kits so that we may obtain them at a steeply discounted cost. We will be disseminating them nationally free of charge to health clinics, community centers, and women's health groups. Our goal is to save lives through early detection and raise awareness for the need!
